Sestriere is located in the heart of the Milky Way, offering over 400km of skiing. The resort is one of Italy’s highest purpose built resorts offering high altitude and snow sure skiing with the highest peaks reaching up to 2823m.
It attracted huge investment and lift improvement in 2006 when it was used as one the main ski area for the 2006 Winter Olympics.
Sestriere is the highest altitude resort out of all the Milky Way ski resorts, with phenomenal 360 degree panoramic views of the surrounding areas.
The high altitude resort is one of the most snow-sure and have some of the best snow conditions in Italy.
