Why should you book for December 2023?

Karneval Week

Once every four years, the European holidays align with the UK’s February half-term dates. As the whole of Europe celebrates Karneval week, European Ski resorts are busier than ever. It means that bookings are harder to find and slopes are much busier, but do not worry! There are many options to find the perfect solution, including December skiing:

December: A great alternative

Skiing early in the season will provide a incredible alternative to the busier parts of the season with:

  • Superb availability and choice of accommodation and resorts
  • Quicker journey times with less traffic
  • Quieter slopes make skiing much safer
  • More time on the slopes thanks to less queuing at lifts
  • More space and time at restaurants

All these things will make your ski trip an incredible experience for students and teachers alike.

Festive Feelings

There is no more magical place than a ski resort over the festive period. Breath-taking mountain scenery is the perfect place to get into the Christmas spirit and with incredible après-ski options there is something for everyone with December skiing. Bardonecchia, Italy – December 2022

In December 2022, we took 35 students from the Holy Family Catholic High School to Bardonecchia, Italy, to enjoy some incredible skiing. The trip had it all, great snow, empty slopes, incredible ski instructors and beautiful scenery. As you can see in the pictures below, the group enjoyed empty slopes, one of the few other groups out was another one of our ski groups! You can see how much they enjoyed it in the images to the left.
