Kronplatz School Ski Trips
Modern Lift System with Great Variety of Skiing

The Resort:

Kronplatz is the largest ski resort in its region and is located on the border of northern Italy, Austria, and Switzerland in the heart of the Pusteria Valley, giving the resort an Austrian charm.  The development of this ski region was shown back in 2017 when Kronplatz hosted the Women’s Ski World Cup.

Skiing in Kronplatz:

The resort is split into two areas, Klausbery and the Speikboden Mountains providing 119km of piste meaning no day is the same in Kronplatz. Of the 119km, 55km is blue runs meaning beginners are spoilt for choice, whilst advanced skiers will be tested by the long-distance black runs as well as cross-country trails. Other than the impressive 119km of piste the resort offers lots of other brilliant services. Its lifts are modern and quick resulting in next to no waiting time, whilst there are also cable cars to take you to the top. The freestyle snow park has numerous fun activities including tubing and snowboarding. Not only this, but the resort also provides 360-degree views of the mountain ranges due to its unusual scenery.

For Schools Because:

For a resort, the altitude is low, but this does not matter one bit as Kronplatz has some of the world’s best snowmaking coverage with 100% slopes covered by snow cannons, making it an ideal resort for a school trip. Even if the climate is not brilliant, skiing is guaranteed every day on excellently maintained slopes. To top it all off, access to the resort is available directly from the train station showing how Kronplatz is a brilliant fit for a mixed ability large school trip.

Après Ski:

Skiers can also take in the slopes at night for a breath-taking ride later in the evening.  For those who want a break from the snow, the open mountains provide consistent sunshine for sunbathing whilst evening activities such as karaoke and pizza nights await.
