One particular attraction of Bansko is the long 16km blue run that goes from the Todorka peak all the way down to the base and is perfect for beginners gaining confidence and intermediates who prefer a longer run.

Bansko is a historic town and on Sundays, the local market offers a great selection of local produce and crafts. Throughout the week an afternoon can be spent wandering around shopping, eating the hearty local food, and enjoying the views. There are many traditional restaurants that serve cheap and warm food that is perfect for a post-ski meal. In the evenings there are discos and live music to enjoy before heading back to your accommodation for some well-needed rest.
