  1. Pista Paradiso, Passo Tonale, Italy

No trip to Kitzbuhel is complete without an exhilarating slide down The Streif, home to the incredible Hahnenkamm Race. Frequented by FIS legends, this run ranges from 85% steepness at the mousetrap section to firm and fast sections that test your ski/snowboard edges. The beauty of this magnificent run is there are sections that intermediates can access too, just skip the steep and head to the steady sections for a thrill within your comfort zone. A fantastic memory that will stay with your students for a lifetime.  

  1. Aliga, El Tarter, Grandvalira, Andorra

Aliga, El Tarter Black Ski Run

This slope is more than just a black run, shaped in the X of the Grandvalira logo, this FIS-rated black run has been home to many Alpine Ski World Cups over the years. Famous for its 600m vertical drop and beautiful tree-lined setting, if you earn those turns throughout your school ski trip, this run could be the grand finale of your fantastic week in Andorra. 

  1. Muidors, Cerler, Spain

Set in the heart of the beautiful Pyrenees resort of Cerler, Muidors is a black run you may not have heard of, but one you won’t forget! This slope is packed with ungroomed moguls, towering trees, steep sections and sensational views. Want to set your sights on your first black run after a week of ski lessons? This is the perfect starting point. 

  1. Gamsleiten 2, Obertauern, Austria 

Gamsleiten 2, Black Ski Run

Think steep, moguls and a gradient of 70% and you have the Gamsleiten 2 in the heart of the fantastic ski area of Obertauren, Austria. Known as one of the steepest slopes in Europe, this isn’t one for the faint-hearted. Navigate your way down this slope with caution and enjoy the thrill of top-notch skiing/snowboarding.
