Inspection Visit – Easter 2024 – Serre Chevalier

inspireski inspection visit Easter 2024: Serre Chevalier

Here at inspireski we know how important it is to be comfortable with all parts of a school trip before you travel. That’s is why we offer inspection visits, so that teachers can join us and enjoy the wonderful resorts we are so proud to help students visit every year. These visits are the ideal opportunity for new and existing customers to learn how we operate, while also enjoying a week in some of the most majestic mountain scenery around.

For Easter’s inspireski inspection visit this year, 3 of our very own sales team took 30 teachers out to Serre Chevalier in France for an unforgettable week of skiing.

Day 1

An early start at Stansted Airport to meet our group of teachers. Everyone was excited about the trip ahead and the prospect of skiing Serre Chevalier.

In Marseille, our driver was waiting for us, and after a stunning drive through the mountains, lakes, rivers and Parc National des Ecrins, we arrived at our accommodation nice and early.

Day 2

The skies were looking blue on our first skiing day, as the group enjoyed all the snow on offer in Serre Chevalier before meeting for a picturesque lunch at the top of the gondola. Pretty much everyone skied right to the very last lift! Little did we know the snow was about to get even better.

Day 3

Up early to jump on the lifts and get the very best of the new snow that was still falling. Fresh tracks, empty slopes and powder snow. It simply doesn’t get much better! After the most incredible days skiing we headed out for a lovely meal in a local restaurant, enjoying local beers and wine along with some lovely traditional French food.

Day 4

The morning was spent cruising through 6-inch powder on some of the best Easter conditions the Inspireski team has ever skied. The group met for lunch discuss the plan for the afternoon and we all agreed it was more of the same. At 5pm we all sat down for a drink and toasted to an exceptional days skiing!

Day 5

We wanted to make the final night memorable with a visit to the UNESCO World Heritage site a medieval town of Briancon. The guests explored the town with great gusto enjoying the narrow streets, boutique shops and stunning vistas. Throughout the week all our guests had socialised incredibly well, sharing stories of previous school ski trips, helpful hints, and tips. Afterwards we headed back to the village of Villeneuve some 15 minutes away where the evening continued by both guests and inspire ski team at one of the many resort bars.

Day 6

Bellies full of pizza from the night before we had an early breakfast in order to catch our flight from Marseille. Everyone has had a great week of skiing and socialising everyone enjoyed the superb skiing and Culture!! We have already started planning the 2025 trip! Where next? Watch this space!

We had the best time in France on our inspection visit, as did the 30 staff we took along with us! Here are a few of the comments from the trip:
